The Extreme Darkness has a robust aluminium ENDO frame design made to withstand some of Australia's harshest conditions whilst also allowing the strength required for a truly freestanding awning.

• 4x Built in LED Light Arms with both white and amber switches (5m cord with a 12V accessory plug)
• 900 Denier Polyester Canvas, Waterproof and UV50+
• PVC cover bag
• Aluminium square tube framing
• Black ENDO frame, backing plate and arms
• 13.5 m² Coverage
• 1 x Built in leg – movable to other arms (additional legs can be purchased)
• 2 x Quick release rope ratchets to tension your awning
• Rain tie down points to create a gutter in adverse weather
• 31 Kg’s 230(L) x 18(H) x 15(W)cm in bag
• One man setup and pack down - in non-adverse weather conditions
• 2 x Standard L-Brackets – Will require rust treatment using lanolin spray
• 304 Stainless steel bolts – Will require rust treatment using lanolin spray

  

Warranty and General care:

• Wind related damage is not covered under warranty, we do not recommend that you open your awning in adverse weather conditions.
• 12-month structural warranty covering manufacturing and material defects. This does not include the incorrect use or mounting of your awning.
• Your consumer rights include that we will replace or refund at our discretion for any major structural failures. For any minor issues we will happily work with you to sort out the best possible solution to ensure your awning is in its best usable condition. 
• When you open your awning, please ensure the zippers are right to the top of the bag so that when you fold the bag over it does not cause any stress on the zipper and eliminates a pinch point for the bag.
• When you roll up your awning, please ensure it is done as tight as possible to minimise movement during travel, incorrect securement of your awning could cause rubbing and holes in your canvas.
• As your awning will be exposed to the elements we recommend you use the following products to maintain your awning. Lanolin spray for your brackets to help protect against surface rust. A canvas reproofer spray to aid in waterproofing.
• Please check over all bolts from time to time as these can loosen during travel.

 

Freight related issues:

 If you elect to have your awning left in a safe place  for home delivery, there is no opportunity for you to check over that the item has arrived in good condition. Therefore Bushwakka Adventure Gear cannot be held responsible for any claim for freight damage or theft of items after delivery.

 

Please ensure you thoroughly check over the box prior to signing for it, if there is any obvious damage to the box please refuse the parcel and let us know immediately.  Please ensure you check over your awning once it has arrived to ensure you are not missing any items, if you do please let us know at your earliest convenience so we can resolve any issues.

  

Fitting advice:

**Note: Bushwakka reserves the right to deny a Warranty Claim if the owner has not mounted their awning to appropriately load rated brackets - we highly recommend the use of the supplied brackets, alternatives that we offer or brackets outlined in our Fitting advice** 

Minimum 1200mm distance between brackets required

ARB Base rack

Our standard L-brackets, Platform L-brackets or HD T-Style brackets are suitable.

Mounting will require either T-slot adapters or KAON brackets to suit ARB Base rack.

 Front Runner

Mounting will require spacers to bring the bracket level with the edge rail (50mm/2") 

Our standard L-brackets, Platform L-brackets or HD T-Style brackets are suitable.

Alternatively, you can purchase Front Runner Bat wing/Manta wing brackets.

 Rhino Rack Vortex bars/Yakima Crossbars

Our standard L-brackets, Platform L-brackets or HD T-Style brackets are suitable.

You will need to source 4x size M8 T-bolts to mount your brackets.

 Yakima LockNLoad Platform
